Only ties should be booked into the rink diary
A few things to remember to help keep our Green the best it can be.
The Greenkeeper decides which rinks can be used and in what order. The only exception is if it is a tie, otherwise you must adhere to the rinks in the order they are on the board.
If the rink number is not on the board, it is not in play.
If the Greenkeeper hasn't arrived after 10 minutes in a Maintenance slot at 12pm and 4pm he won't be coming so play can continue.
Do not sit or step over the banking or stand on the ditch edge of the rink.
These are all things which damage the edges.
Please refrain from bowling bowls from above calf height or dropping bowls on the green, as this causes divets which damage the green and ultimately makes a rink unplayable. There are sticks provided in the locker room for use on the green if you need extra support, please use them to protect the Green.
